Description: History of The Conference:
Established in 2017, The Quant Conference is the world's largest quant conference of its kind. The Quant Conference has been conceived as a unique event to provide an educational forum for delegates to hear about current trends in the cutting-edge field of quantitative finance. The first conference was hosted in 2017 in collaboration with Bank of America Merrill Lynch when it became immediately the largest conference of its kind in Europe. After that, with the support of J.P. Morgan, WorldQuant, Aspect Capital, Flow Traders, Bank of America Merrill Lynch, HSBC, Wolfram and GSA Capital, we hosted another conference on November 2, 2018 at the Marriott Hotel in Grosvenor Square, London, which made it the world’s largest of its kind. In 2019 we organised our inagural event in New York which attaracted some of the most recognised speaerks.

The rise of big data, application of machine learning and other technological developments in recent years have transformed the quantitative finance industry. The Quant Conference’s speaker roster of industry leaders provides insights from those pioneering these changes. Topics discussed on the day include: a panel on "What allocators are looking for", a debate on "Systemaitc vs Discretionary", a panel on "Front office of the future. How does technology transform the way Asset Managers and Banks work?" and many more. The event offers a wealth of networking opportunities with professional money managers, allocators, academics and recruitment of young talent.
TQC19 will take place on the 1st of November in Grand Connaught Rooms and our ambition is to make it one of the best quant conferences ever. We want to give our delegates a unique opportunity to learn about the industry from those who built it.
